Review: Rapha Trade Team Jersey

If you ride a bike and own some kit then it is very likely you have heard of Rapha. They support some of the biggest teams in professional cycling, though more importantly to me is their gorgeous kit. The talented folks at Rapha are constantly creating new works of art that I want to add to my cycling wardrobe, I challenge anyone to check out their website and find something they don’t like.

The Trade Team Jerseys are a nod to the jerseys of old, inspired by teams such as Renault-Elf-Gitane. Rapha pay homage to that golden era of modern road racing; the 1980’s. The designs are bold and colourful and are a step away from Rapha’s well known house style.

The Trade Team Jerseys are available in three colourways and they all look awesome – I found it hard to choose. All have a streamlined, race fit, with a lower collar and slightly longer sleeves. Constructed from the same block and fabric as the Rapha Pro Team Jersey, it is very breathable and lightweight. As with all Rapha kit the quality is amazing, the fit is perfect, and are there are some well thought out features such as internal headphone routing and a valuables compartment.

The Trade Team Jersey is now one of my most worn items of clothing, so if you want that renowned Rapha quality but something slightly different than what you see on everyone else then grab one now!

Head over to for more amazing gear!
