Fixed Cyclocross

I moved to the countryside a while ago, and whilst it is great riding country roads on my track bike I decided it was time to take it off road. I took a file to my fork to give myself some extra tyre clearance, it’s a bit tight but works fine.

I still have to change my gearing a bit but on the whole I’m loving a bit of fixed cyclocross, I might even get a real bike and do some races next year. I was always a city or “urban” cyclist though now I’m a country lad I’m embracing the dirt and off road. Riding a fixed gear bike is fine for cyclocross, sometimes I feel I might need a brake though. It’s great being able to mix on and off road together, its a great feeling storming through the woods and mud on a track bike.
