The awesome guys at Eighthinch sent me a wicked Christmas present! A massive box turned up filled with goodies. Inside the box was a Scrambler V3 frame and fork, Eighthinch track crank, rear sprocket, lock ring, bars, grips, stem, seatpost, tyres and a pair of Julian wheels!
The frame feels wicked to ride, it’s nice and stiff, has double gussets on the head tube and the geometry is really comfortable. The Julian wheel set look and feel rad, with 36 spokes and a deep rim these are a solid set of wheels.
Unfortunately I broke my wrist riding Bmx on new years day so I can’t really ride properly. Though I could not resist the temptation and have been riding it about. I can’t wait till I’m fully healed, so I can give it a proper test. I have a lot planned for this bike and I’m sure it will stand up to the challenge, watch this space to see what I get up to. Here’s a few snaps of the build.
